Mathematics instead of a hunch
Marek joined Konsens Logika in September 2018. He doesn't deal with consultancy in the general sense, but with building hard models that predict the opponent's moves. His work begins with analyzing historical data from the last 14 months of bidding in which the client participated. Marek doesn't look for inspiration, but for repeatable patterns in competitor behavior, because mathematics has no emotions.
In daily work, Marek uses game theory to dismantle tenders in the logistics and construction sectors. He focuses on hard data from the Łódź market and surrounding counties. In every project, we check 12 rival behavioral variants, which allows for eliminating decision errors resulting from haste or stress. Numbers speak louder than a bluff, and Marek can force them to show the truth about the chances of winning.
In July 2024, Marek prepared a model for a local transport company entering a tender for 156 regular routes. Thanks to his regression analysis, the client lowered the rate by exactly 0.14 PLN per kilometer at key points, allowing them to win the contract with a lead of just 1,200 PLN over the second bidder. This shows that precision at the level of fractions determines who takes the job and who is left with an empty yard.
Marek spends most of his time in calculation sheets and the R statistical environment. He doesn't use trendy buzzwords about artificial intelligence because he believes that solid statistics and logic are enough to outplay most market players. If the model shows the profit probability at a given price is lower than 23%, Marek unhesitatingly recommends withdrawing from the bid. Your rival has already calculated their chances, so we must calculate them more accurately.
Before working at Konsens Logika, Marek spent 6 years in financial controlling at a construction material wholesaler. There he learned that a calculation error of 0.8% can destroy the profitability of an entire quarter. This experience makes him brutally honest in assessments and unafraid to question management assumptions if they don't follow directly from the cost table.
Marek works in the office on Kilińskiego Street from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. He usually needs 4 business days to prepare the first simulation version for a new inquiry. He is concrete and avoids fluff – every thesis of his is supported by a specific row of calculations that you can check personally during consultation.
